Women's Issues

Women today wear a lot of hats from wife, partner, mother, grandmother, employee, and many more. Women are more likely than men to experience stress that leads to mental health challenges. Counseling for women's issues can include therapy for anxiety, depression, self-esteem and/or body image concerns, relationship issues, workplace issues, religious issues, issues surrounding motherhood and/or caregiving, stress, and mood-related challenges. Counseling can help women struggling with any of these issues by exploring what it means to incorporate self-care into their routine, teaching new coping strategies, identifying negative thinking patterns, implementing boundary setting, and improving communication.

If you are ready to begin the process of identifying areas in your life that you need help with, please contact The Oaks to being counseling sessions. We love to help empower women to make healthy changes in their lives.
