LPC Associate Supervision

Are you an upcoming or current LPC Associate? Are you looking for an approved site to gain hours toward licensure in a private practice setting?  The Oaks is looking for LPC Associates who want to learn how to navigate private practice, and upon completion of your hours be able to launch your own business! *(The Oaks is currently only looking to hire qualified individuals who wish to receive on-site supervision with Shannon Schimelpfening, LPC-S, RPT. Supervision is still available for LPC Associates who are not employees of The Oaks Counseling and Play Therapy).

The Oaks specializes in child/adolescent counseling but also works with adult clients of all ages. If you only wish to work with adults, don't let the play therapy keep you away. The Oaks has just added an ADULT-only therapy space. Please contact us if you believe you are the right fit! Flexible hours/work on your own schedule/after-hours (5 PM and later, and weekends) are in high demand for private paying clients! Daytime hours are also available. You will have immediate access to my referral base and can begin seeing clients quickly.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Master's program in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, or a related field of Counseling.

• Passing score on National Counselor Exam

• Cover letter describing:

  • Clinical goals​

  • Interests

  • Theoretical Framework

• Current resume/CV

• 3 Professional References

• Transcripts (unofficial permitted):

  • Undergraduate ​

  • Graduate (to date)
